992 Porsche 911 for Sale in San Diego
San Diego pairs year-round driving weather with one of the most engaged 911 communities on the West Coast — a market that rewards honest spec and turnkey cars.
San Diego buys 992s for the right reasons — the chassis is genuinely better than the 991, the interior is finally up to the price tag, and the year-round climate means a 992 here gets driven, not just stored. We deliver 992 Carrera S, 4S, and GTS cars into San Diego with full enclosed transport from the Pacific Northwest.
Climate & storage. Coastal sun and salt air call for thoughtful storage — covered parking, a quality PPF spec, and regular wash routine — but the lack of true winter means cars get used.
Delivery to San Diego. Enclosed transport down I-5 to San Diego runs 2-3 days; we coordinate the carrier and confirm delivery time the day before so you can plan around it.
Local meets at Mission Bay and Pacific Beach pull strong air-cooled and modern 911 turnout; the coastal road from La Jolla up through Carlsbad is a Saturday standard.

About the 992
The 992 launched in 2019 as a meaningful chassis revision rather than a clean-sheet redesign. Wider body across all variants, a stronger structure, the 8-speed PDK, an interior redesign that pulled the dashboard layout back toward the classic 911 with a center tachometer and three flanking screens.
The 992.1 (2019–2024) covered the bulk of the deliveries — Carrera, Carrera S, Carrera 4 / 4S, GTS, Turbo, Turbo S, and the headline-grabbing Dakar with raised suspension and rally graphics. 992.2 launched in 2024 with the T-Hybrid system on the GTS, refreshed front and rear treatments, and the manual gearbox returning on the Carrera T.
Pricing on the used 992 market is starting to settle as the cars come off lease in volume. Lightly used GTS and Turbo cars at meaningful discounts to MSRP — without the wait — are the value play right now.
What to look for
- Spec — color, wheels, interior trim, optional aluminum or carbon-fiber roof. Original window-sticker matters on a 992.
- Service-plan transfer status — many 992s are still inside Porsche's complimentary maintenance period.
- Tire and brake wear on Turbo S and GT3 cars — these are consequential service items.
